Joshua & Bree Atkins (Children's Directors)
Joshua and Bree Atkins have been married since 2015 and are blessed with four children. Together, they serve as the Directors of Children’s Ministry at 127 Church, and Joshua also serves as an Elder.
Joshua and Bree have a deep desire to see children encounter Jesus and know Him—not simply know about Him. Their heart is to cultivate an environment where children learn to recognize the voice of the Lord, walk in the freedom that Jesus purchased for them through the cross, and develop a genuine and lasting intimacy with Christ.
Their vision is to raise up children who are full of the Holy Spirit, deeply rooted in Christ, and bold with the Gospel. They believe children are not merely the future of the Church—they are part of the Church today, and they can know, hear, love, and boldly follow Jesus right now.
Lastly, Joshua and Bree long to see every child discover Jesus not merely as Savior and Lord, but as their all in all—the One who becomes the center of their identity, their lives, and everything they do.
Jacob and Paige Ricketts have been married since 2016, and are blessed with four children. Together, they have served in ministry since 2016, and Jacob serves as the Lead Pastor of 127 Church.
Their heart is to reveal Jesus through the whole counsel of Scripture, helping people encounter the mystery that has been revealed: “Christ in you, the hope of glory.”
Jacob and Paige believe intimacy with Christ is the crux of the Christian faith.. They desire to see a people who are led by the Holy Spirit through genuine intimacy with Christ, who steward His Glory well, and who are moved by His love and compassion to make Him known to others.
They believe deep and purposeful discipleship is essential to the life of the Church. Their desire is to see people become mature in Christ—not simply informed about Jesus, but increasingly transformed into His likeness. Through discipleship and authentic communion with others, they long to see believers encourage one another, fear the Lord, willingly suffer for His name, and faithfully steward the people God has placed around them.
Lastly, Jacob and Paige long for others to know: Christ builds His Church, not them. He is the Builder, the foundation, and the very substance with which He builds His Church with. There's nothing special about anyone on leadership here. We love Jesus and long to proclaim Him and magnify His name every day. Their commitment is simple: every week, Jesus will be preached. They want every person who walks through the doors of 127 Church to encounter the beauty of Christ through Scripture, be drawn into deeper communion with Him, and be equipped to live a life wholly surrendered to Him.
